BBC/ICE CREAM DROP PARTY

There was a good showing at the shop. The new Ice Cream joints were pretty fly, but I gotta say, some kats need to just LEAVE BAPE ALONE! (Or at least stop rockin’ the fake jumpoffs). Brothas are getting to look like Andre 3000 when he met Erykah. lol.

The BBC/ICE CREAM party at Epic was pretty dope. They served Moet and ice cream all night, and even had a performance by the Pharcyde. I love the way the set up the store. Ken is doin’ his thing.

THE KILLER’S XMAS PARTY

I went to the annual Xmas party last week hosted by Ryan Pardey and “The Killers.” I love that there is a playground in the back yard. My only regret is jumping off the swings after having nothing but Patron last year (and I didn’t have dinner). Live and learn. I talked ot Britt, Tiff, and Amelian about their aspirations of becoming the parody pop group “Valley Girl Robot.” I will be making their beats if it goes down. lol. “Buyin’ Babies” is the first single… Don’t sleep!

 

I stopped by Fruition to say what up to the fam, and found out that Raekwon was on his way up to the shop. I have been a Wu fan for a goo minute, so I was more than happy to meet da Chef. He even signed Touch’s “Wu” Alife’s. Real nice humble cat…

 

I had a meeting with Robert Cromean (of Paul Mitchell) at Red Square in Mandalay Bay recently. They are looking to have a new creative director pump some fresh blood into their visual campaign. I was shocked when I got the call, but funnier things have happened. It was a good meeting, I think we had the same vision for what Paul Mitchell could/should be. Now I am just playing the waiting game to see what happens next…

Xmas was very good to me. Had my family fly in and stay for a week. I am truly blessed. I wish they’d just move out here. So I could get some real bbq out here….

My trip back to Kansas City was definitely a fun one. I got to see all the peeps I wanted to see, went out just about every night. Not too shabby of a Thanksgiving I must say…

My cousin Joe and I stopped by my friend Lil C’s new loft downtown. It was pretty big. How I do miss those low KC rent prices…

We went down to Westport to get a drink and a bite at McCoy’s and I snapped this dope pic of some peeps on the top of Buzzard. I wish Vegas was a little more urban at times.

I ran into my friend Meggo inside Buzzard, and proceded to swaggify her. lol. She is now officially gully… (Note how the eyes match the belt)

I hung out with Tracey at Tootsie’s, and had more than a few drinks. I can’t remember which night this was, but I do know that the dude takin the picture was waaay too serious about getting “good shots.” But all guys are friendly at gay bars… Right?

Joe made some new friends that liked to dance at a bar called Fuel. This place was hilarious to us because we were the only brothas in there (yes, we were on the Kansas side). I felt like Borat… Maaad outta place…

Every time I go downtown it makes me wish I didn’t move. I heart the city.

Maybe one day I’ll move back…
