House of Commons is a new boutique in the Las Vegas area that focuses on independent designers/artists. Their lineup includes Commune, Maharishi, and Mash goods. Andrew Brandou and Dr. Romanelli represent two Los Angeles based artists at the creative forefront of reinspired designs. This latest Surgical Strike collection is a mix of clothing and paintings each incorporating a military inspired theme. The concept behind this project is Dr. Romanelli’s personal fascination with vintage military apparel. This collection includes Romanelli’s trademark customized apparel which extend far beyond the original military aesthetic and incorporate a higher-end feel and execution. Andrew Brandou has contributed a series of paintings based off of the works of wildlife artist John James Audubon. These pieces will debut on November 22nd at Maharishi.

Japanese jewelers Garni developed their brand philosophy on the pretense of creating jewelry which regardless of the seasons achieves the same effect of creating a memorable and warm piece. To celebrate the 3rd Anniversary of Hong Kong brand Subcrew, two limited edition rings were created. Only 50 pieces are available and will release late into December. Price is yet to be determined.
As part of their latest collection, Washington, D.C. based label DURKL has released their own cut-and-sew denim line. Each pair is made in LA and incorporates classic 5-pocket styling with contrast stitching. They come garment dyed in five colors: purple, cyan, yellow, black and white and are available in both classic and slim fit cuts. Available now at DURKL with a price tag of $99 USD.
